Thank you for choosing Suburban Lung Associates. High-quality healthcare starts with a team of dedicated professionals, including board-certified physicians, advanced practice nurses, registered nurses, respiratory therapists and certified medical assistants.

During your first visit, the physician will evaluate your respiratory health. Some testing will have immediate results, however, most tests require time for review and interpretation. Treatment plans are reviewed at each visit, with a written summary for you to take home. Results of the evaluation are communicated to your referring physician. At follow-up visits, we review your current medications and discuss your health concerns. Please bring an updated list to all office visits. If you have been told to bring your sleep support equipment or your peak flow log; please do so at every visit. We prefer to provide you with your refill prescriptions at the time of your visit. Medication refills are available by phone only when necessary.

The central person on the healthcare team is you. Our partnership with informed patients provides optimal health care, allowing for early intervention and the best possible outcome. We encourage your questions & comments and value your confidence in our care.

Hospitalization

While in the hospital, you will be seen by one of the Suburban Lung physicians and an advanced practice nurse. Your usual Suburban Lung Associates doctor may not be available to see you, but will be in regular consultation with the physician who is caring for you. We recommend that you see your usual Suburban Lung physician within 7-14 days after hospital discharge.
